Since Marc Eagle opened his wine boutique in 2007 at the Marché de l’Ouest, he has helped thousands of amateur winemakers produce their own wine. Having spent time learning the trade in Ontario and British Columbia prior to establishing his business in Quebec, Marc Eagle is not only the owner of VinGo boutique, but he is also President of the Canadian Artisanal Winemaking Association (ACVA).
Once you select the grapes for your wine, the process is as easy as counting to three.
1. Start your wine. (Your wine retailer will bring you all the equipment to start the wine making process. The first step is to sprinkle the yeast on the juice in order to start the fermentation.)
2. Time and patience. (The fermentation process takes from four to eight weeks depending on the type of grape. Be patient ! Your winemaking boutique will inform you when your wine will be ready for bottling!)
3. Bottle and label your wine. (The bottling process lasts about 45 minutes. Once the step is completed, you only need to cork and label the bottles. The process is completed by adding retractable capsules that add a stylish look to the bottles).
Rest assured, you won’t have to go through all the steps alone. Marc Eagle and his staff will be there to help you.
